Matthew Lee Bullock Obituary

Matthew Lee Bullock “Jim” was born to the late Ramon and Edna West Bullock on January 5, 1933. He graduated from Millville High School in Millville, New Jersey. After graduating high school, he moved to Baltimore, Maryland where he went to work for Old Bay Seasonings for several years. He then joined the Air Force, retiring after serving over 24 years. After retiring, he started a home improvement business – Bullocks Home Repair. He married Mary Johnson on January 20, 1956 in Fort Worth, Texas and from this union two sons were born. Matthew was a life-long member of Antioch Baptist Church. For many years he loved baseball and coaching Little League, and loved playing cards. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Mary E. Bullock; his son, Matthew L. Bullock, Jr. (Faye) of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his son Kevin D. Bullock (companion Sharon). He is also survived by his three brothers: Manford Bullock of Los Angeles, California; Sherwin A. Stubbs (Annie) of Pacioma, California; and Arthur Stubbs of Millville, New Jersey; along with six grand-children: Alicia Craig (Harold) and Michelle Bullock both of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Tamekia Brown (L.J.) of Riviera Beach, Florida; Kevin D. Bullock, Jr., Matthew L. Bullock and Rachelle Bullock all of Colorado Springs, Colorado; five great-grandchildren: Zaniece Brown, L.J. Brown, Jr., Kevin Brown, Lavaya Brown and Matthew L. Bullock, Jr. as well as a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.
