Maxine McKinley

Maxine B. (Hibbard) McKinley January 12, 1911 – January 25, 2013 Maxine B. (Hibbard) McKinley went peacefully to sleep, at the age of 102, in her home at Village of Skyline on January 25, 2013. She was born in Bailey County, Texas on January 12, 1911 to the late Otie Pearl and Frank Hibbard, where she was greeted by her brothers and sisters, Art, Gerald, Mable and Mildred. Maxine moved with her family to Colorado City, Colorado from Muleshoe, Texas on June 14, 1914. She attended Colorado City Bancroft School, Longfellow Elementary School, Buena Vista Elementary School, West Jr. High and graduated from Palmer High School in 1929. She married Harry E. McKinley on January 10, 1932 and they had 3 children, Jackie, Marilyn and De Layne. Maxine is survived by her family of nurses and John McIlvennan at Village of Skyline; Brother-in-Law and Sister-in-Law; John & Pat McKinley and their children, JD & Judy McKinley and family, Craig Moser & family, Gary Hamilton & family; Caregivers, Frank & Barbara Sanders, and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Harry, in January 1998; her 3 children, Jackie, Marilyn and De Layne; and her brothers & sisters. She was a loving wife, mother, and aunt who will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.
