Michael Crimble Obituary

Michael Crimble passed away October 11, 2014, at home, among his family after a long time illness. Born July 4, 1940 in Emporia, Kansas to Frances and Pauline Crimble. He moved to Colorado Springs in 1955 with his parents and four sisters. Michael had distinguished service in the United States Coast Guard from 1957 to 1966. He followed the career path of his family and was a fourth generation wood working craftsman. Michael attended the University of Southern Colorado, and was nationally known for his master craftsmanship in fine piano wood finishing. In his leisure time, he was an avid artist, boat builder and outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as a life time member of the NRA. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Crimble, and his daughter, Dianne Reitan and three of his sisters, Paula Martinez in Pueblo, CO, Pat Shields, in Portland, OR and Anita Barnett in Johnson City, TN. Private memorial service will be held October 18,2014 from 10am to 4pm by the family. Arrangements are in the care of Blunt Mortuary in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
