Mindy Lee Obituary

Mindy Lynn Lee was born in Huntington Beach, California. She moved with her parents to Springhill, Florida in 1980. She moved to Manitou Springs, Colorado in 2004 with her two daughters and her parents. She disappeared on November 26, 2010 and her body was found in Woodland Park, Colorado on December 1, 2010. Mindy was a former model and continued modeling on a part-time basis. She worked for LJM Photography and her last employer was A & A Stucco an Parras Concrete while living in Manitou Springs. She was a fun-loving, free-spirited, beautiful woman, not only on the outside but inside where it counts, a former model who dearly loved her children. Her pastimes included participation in the Manitou Springs Drum Circle held on Thursday evenings in Manitou's Memorial Park, as well as caring about and helping others less fortunate. She was very close with her parents and family members. Mindy was loved by everyone who met her. She leaves behind many family and friends, who will deeply miss her. Mindy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Louisa (Honey) and Sal (Pa Pa) Sorise; her 1st cousin John Salaz and uncle Pete Salaz. She is survived by her daughters, Amber Carr (age 14-father, Robert) and Aspen Park (age 4-father, Beau), parents Vicki and Jay Cribbs of Manitou Springs, aunt Sherry Salaz, and cousins: Dino (& Becky) Hartwick, Brandon (& Tina) Hartwick, and Troy Hartwick; her 2nd cousins, Brittney, John and Jazzy Hartwick. She is also survived by her Pittsburg family: grandparents, Evalyn and George Cribbs, Aunt Nancy Hamilton, Uncle George Cribbs, Jr, cousins Alexander Hamilton and Jill Cribbs-Steel. Memorial donations may be made at any Academy Bank location for her two daughters' futures. Ask for the "Mindy Lee Memorial Fund." The family would like to thank everyone in the Pikes Peak Region who have sent prayers and are keeping them in their thoughts. Thank you to those who went to Woodland Park on Wednesday to help search before the tragic discovery. Visitation is set from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd. Colorado Springs, CO.
