Ova Earnestine Tully November 18, 1937 – May 16, 2015 Ova Earnestine Tully, 77, longtime resident of Security, Colorado, was called home to the Lord on May 16, 2015. She was born on Nov. 18, 1937 in Davis, Oklahoma, to Earnest Jefferson and Ova Purlie (Worstell) Howeth. Earnestine is survived by her daughter Susan (Richard) Hill, her son Tom (Linda) Tully, her granddaughters, Amber Hill, Raya (Roy) Whatley, and Andrea Tully, her great-granddaughter Amadi Whatley, and her brother Argle Howeth. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Donnie O. Tully, her parents, and nine brothers and sisters. She was a dedicated wife and homemaker for her family and worked as a supervisor at SafeTran Industries for many years. Earnestine cherished her family and friends and kept in close contact with them all. She was very active in her church, treasuring the friends and fellowship she found there. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening and camping in the mountains of Colorado. Visitation will be held Friday, May 22, 12:00 pm to 1:45 pm followed by the funeral service at 2:00 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs.
