Raymond Medina

Ray Medina, age 66, longtime resident of Colorado Springs went home to be with the Lord on December 21, 2012. He was born August 28, 1946 in Alamosa, Colorado to John and Susan (Aragon) Medina who preceded him in death. Ray was married to his loving wife, Annabelle for 45 years, who also preceded him in death on June 23, 2011. They had one child, Lori Medina (Mare) from Denver, Colorado. Ray is also survived by one sister, Patricia Bernol (John) from Pueblo, CO; two grandchildren, Desiree Delgado and Marcus Cable, both from Denver, CO; two great grandchildren, Angelina and Natalie Delgado. Ray began his career at Mountain Bell in Colorado Springs, then worked for District II Schools at Whittier Elementary and was currently employed by King Soopers on the Westside. Ray was described as a ‘ray of sunshine’, full of life, and loved by all. In his spare time, Ray enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and was a member of Sacred Heart Parish. His last wish was for everyone to know he was going to spend eternal happiness with his wife, Annabelle, in peace.
