Robert Hall

Bob Earl Hall passed away at Pikes Peak Hospice in Colorado Springs, CO on July 19, 2011 at the age of 90. Bob was born in Perkins, Oklahoma, June 10,1921. He was raised in Texarkana, Arkansas where he was active in the Presbyterian church, often singing as tenor soloist in the church choir. He graduated from the University of Arkansas with a juris doctorate in 1943. He joined the Navy and was sent to Columbia University for advanced naval training graduating as an Ensign. He served overseas during the war, first in the South Pacific followed by a stint in North Africa transporting troops. After three years of service he was honorably discharged as a Lt.Jg in 1946. That same year he married Betty Ann Humphry and returned to Arkansas working as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney. Bob then joined the FBI working as a Special Agent and started a family. The family would move numerous times throughout his career before he finally retired in his early 50's to Cripple Creek, Colorado. Bob enjoyed woodworking, carpentry, antique collecting, and fixing his beloved old cars. He and his wife moved to their second home in Colorado Springs in 1980. Survivors include his wife Betty Ann, daughters Melinda Clammer, Patricia Hall, granddaughters Kate Buley, Chelsey Clammer, great grandchildren, Dylan, Maddie, and Lily Buley; also a brother, Richard Hall of Texarkana, Arkansas. A service, “Remembering Bob”, will be held at 10:00 AM on Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Blunt Mortuary, 2229 W. Colorado Avenue in Colorado Springs. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Pikes Peak Hospice.
