Bob was born on June 14, 1947 in Nashville, Tennessee, to Lois and Burt Stoddard. He passed away quietly after a long illness on March 26, 2014. Bob graduated from Air Academy High School in 1965 then proudly served in the Navy on the USS Constellation. He was an avid auto mechanic and loved participating in local stock car racing and the Pikes Peak Hill Climb as pit crew. He was a quiet, gentle man who always helped others before himself. Bob was married in 1983 to Darlene Moore who preceded him in death in 1985. Bob was also preceded to Heaven by his father Burt, and sisters Mary and Patty. He is survived by his mother Lois and brothers Bill and Phil as well as several loving nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 5 at 2:00 PM, Bethany Baptist Church, 1930 W. Colorado Ave. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Lung Association . Arrangements were made through Funeral & Cremation Care of Colorado (Evergreen Funeral Home).
