Ronald Lee Shadwick age 80, was born on March 17, 1932 in Jefferson City, Missouri to the late Fred and Goldie Shadwick. Ronald passed peacefully on December 12, 2012 in Colorado Springs, Colorado at his residence surrounded by his family. Ronald served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps for 4 years and in the U.S. Navy for 20 years. He later went in to civil services as a physical therapy technician at Evan Army Hospital and retired after 20 years. He was always the first to help anyone in need, he took great pride in his home and was loved by neighbors, friends and co-workers. Ronnie always had a youthful spirit and took the time to make you feel welcome and appreciated. Ronald is survived by his spouse, Kum Chu Shadwick; his two daughters, Carol Bates and Cary Boese. Ronald is also survived by five grandchildren; Avery Bates, Sydney Bates, Wesley Boese, Landon Boese, and Hannah Robertson. Donations can be made to the Veteran’s Administration.
