Rosie Mae Thomison passed away December 5, 2015 in Colorado Springs at the age of 89. She was born on February 14, 1926 in Summerfield, Louisiana to the late Lewis Traylor and Angie Price.


Rosie loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren. She loved cooking and baking, gardening and volunteering. She will be remembered for her signature rolls, as well as being a volunteer at Silver Key Senior Services for 21 years.


She is survived by her 2 daughters, Shirley Penn and Sharon Thomison; 2 sons, Lawrence Thomison and Larry Thomison; 6 sisters, Opal Winston, Allain (Earl) Green, Doris Burns, Nadine (Morris) Mitchell, Senita Jones, and Thais Nolan; one brother Ronald (Felecia) Traylor; 7 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; stepmother Georgia Traylor; and a host of extended loving family and friends. She will truly be missed by all. She was preceded in death by her parents Lewis Traylor and Angie Price; her loving husband of 61 years Ben Thomison; 2 sisters, Helen Fuller and Jean Lyons; 5 brothers,Lewis Traylor, Jr., Donald Traylor, Robert Burns, Floyd Burns and Booker T. Burns.
