Vera, a longtime resident of Colorado Springs, died February 16, 2014. Vera was born May 21, 1925 in Bethune, CO. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Stahlecker. She is survived by three sons, Paul, Dale and Alan, two daughters, Susan Pierce and Jean Bruns, and a sister, Hildegarde Aeschlimann, A memorial service will be held, Friday, February 21 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Colorado Springs, CO Arrangements made by Evergreen Funeral Home.
