Vera (Ringen) Wescott, a Wisconsin native and longtime Colorado resident went home to be with the Lord and her beloved husband of 68 years Robert "Bud" Wescott on December 23, 2014. Vera was born September 25, 1925 in Footville, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert (Bud) Wescott who passed away December 11, 2014 and a son Tom. She is survived by her loving son John (Gina) Wescott, 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Vera served as an Administrative Assistant at the Wisconsin School for the Deaf for more than 30 years which was to those who knew her, not a job, but a joyful blessing. Even in retirement the school continued to be an important part of Vera and Bud's life. Through the years the students continued to be the topic of beautiful stories and wonderful friendships. No services will be held at this time. At Vera and Buds request a joint graveside memorial service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs, Colorado in the summer. Mom was a precious gift to all that knew her and a testament of a life well lived.Mom and Dad, you will be dearly missed.
