Virginia Stines
Virginia Ernestine Stines passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 2, 2014. Virginia was born to Ernest and Bernice Martinez, June 16, 1958, in Trinidad, Colorado.She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Patrick Stines, two daughters, Tina Stines and Patricia (Stines) Cochran, son Julian Stines, and granddaughter, Kaylee Cochran. Her strong will to live, unwavering faith in God, devotion to her family, friends, and many supporters carried her through her 22 year battle with Lupus. She always put others needs before her own and her courageous fight with her illness was an inspiration to all who were fortunate to have known her. Her selfless service to family and friends will always be remembered and greatly missed. She will forever be fondly remembered for her love of Elvis and pet companion Molly. There will be a memorial service with a rosary held at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 4925 North Carefree Cir, Colorado Springs, on Friday March 7th at 11 AM.
