Walter Eugene Broughton, age 79, passed away on August 26, 2011 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born May 29, 1932 in London, Kentucky to Walter and Dorothy (Mooney) Broughton. Walter loved to spend time with his family and friends; he loved to listen to country music; he loved trading vehicles; he always had a passion for airplanes through his career in the Air Force. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Lou; a daughter, Mary Elizabeth (Jim) Cranston; a son, Charles (Rose) Broughton; 5 grandchildren, Daniel, Christopher, John, Matthew and Erin; a great grandchild, Colt and many family and friends too numerous to mention. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Dorothy; son, Chris Broughton and grandson, Nicolas J. Broughton
