Wayne John moved to the Colorado Springs area in July 1994 when the 10th Special Forces Group moved to Fort Carson. Wayne was a career Special Forces Combat Soldier that was deployed throughout the world during his 25 years of service.Wayne met his wife, Soulayma, in 1983 while serving in Beirut, Lebanon. He is survived by his wife, Soulayma; daughter Christina and son Dereck. Viewing will be Wednesday, 19 November 2014 from 5:00PM -7:00PM at Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO. The church service will be held on Thursday, 20 November 2014 at the Provider Chapel from 2:00PM-5:00PM, located at 1350 Barkley Ave, Fort Carson, CO.
