William Robert MacDonald May 5, 1930 – July 27, 2012 William (Bill) Robert MacDonald, born May 5, 1930 in Hamden, Connecticut, son of Terrence Smith and Mary Malone MacDonald, died on July 27, 2012. Bill graduated from Colorado College, class of 1952, and played on the first CC NCAA championship hockey team. After serving in the US Navy during the Korean War, he taught in the Cheyenne Mountain School District 12 for more than 50 years. Bill met his wife Martha in Japan and they were married in December 1954. He was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Regan and is survived by his wife Martha, sons Timothy, Thomas and Terrance. Funeral services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday, August 3, 2012 at 11:00AM followed by burial at Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Juvenile Diabetes or Kidney Foundations or a charity of your choice.Obituary
