Alan Kurt Lee passed from this life on December 8, 2012, in Redmesa, Colo. The cause of death is unknown at this time. He was born in Bountiful, Utah, on February 12,1957, the son of Robert E. and Blanche Wheeler Lee. Alan attended Durango High School and then joined the U.S. Army. After his service he worked in the mines in Arizona. Alan was devoted to his daughter and supported all of her interests. He loved the time spent with her and her family. Alan was good working with his hands and loved hiking and spending time in the outdoors. Surviving Alan are his mother, Blanche, of Cortez, Colo.; daughter, Stephanie Ann (Lee), and husband, John Zachary Silva; granddaughter, Lillian Annabelle Silva, of Massachusetts; brother, Robert E. Lee, and wife, Nancy, of Peoria, Ariz.; sisters Linda Colson and husband, David, of Aledo, Texas, Annette Decker and husband, Danny, of Cortez, Colo., Sheila Lee and Lonni Wambeke of Lubbock, Texas, and 20 nieces and nephews. Services for Alan will be held at a later date.
