Brian Enos Obituary

Brian Paul Enos, 60, of Bayfield, Colorado, died on October 10, 2013 after a short illness. He was the son of the late Donald and Jean (Mc Laughlin) Enos of Taunton, Mass. Brian was born in Taunton and was educated at area schools, graduating in 1971 from Taunton High School, where he played varsity football. He then operated his own restaurant in Vallecito, north of Bayfield, where he developed a proprietary brand of salsa which he marketed under the trademark Gorilla Salsa. Living in Colorado nurtured Brian's love of the outdoors and he liked nothing better than trekking the Rocky Mountains on horseback. He combined his culinary skills with his love of the outdoors in helping to operate private horseback tours thru the mountains, where he would cook gourmet meals under the stars after a long day in the saddle. Brian was forced to retire early after becoming disabled but he continued to be very active in the local community . He joined the Pine Valley Church, becoming a much sought-after volunteer where he gave back to his community by cooking and serving meals at church functions and at the Pine Ridge Senior Center. His love of life, outgoing personality & boyish charm made him a special favorite with the older members of the community.
