Frederic C. Peabody succumbed to cancer on June 21, 2017, 7:12am at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born June 8, 1954, to Fredrick C. Peabody and Vida B. Peabody. He is survived by his mother, Vida B. Peabody, sisters; Ramona J. Silva, Helene F. Peabody & Freda M. Peabody. Nieces; Brandilyn M. (Gabriel) Archuleta, Randi N. Peabody (Jeremy Rock), Jenny & Fidelia H. Silva. Nephews; TJ (Amanda) Herrera & Chris J. Lewis. Great nephews; Rhemedio & Dathan Lovato, Sonny & Robbie Archuleta & Cassius Lewis. Great-great nephew Bradley Lovato. Great Nieces, Aundrea & Aubriella Herrera, Rose & Gibran Silva & Samara O'John. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Frank S. Baker & Lucille Watts. His paternal grandparents, Isaac Peabody & Patty Suma. His father Frederic C. Peabody & brother Alvin W. Peabody. On June 7, 2005, Fred made arrangements with Hood Mortuary for cremation; private, family only, with no services. The family respected his wishes; however heartbreaking it was. Fred had many friends and acquaintances. He fought cancer with strong will and determination. He graduated from San Juan College in 1988 & was a very talented carpenter & was a gifted artist. He was a perfectionist and ambidextrous individual. Fred was an independent, simple and private man, a man of few words. He had a lot of humor & a great love for animals. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends & all who knew him.
