Helen Kroeger

Barbara Kroeger passed away on September 14, 2014 in Ogden, UT. She was 89 years old. She was born to Lloyd and Mary Mason in Durango, CO on February 16, 1925. She was raised in Durango and lived there most of her life. She married Jack Kroeger in 1946, and they raised two children, Russell and Mary Ann, on their ranch in the Animas Valley. She enjoyed traveling, playing bridge, and spending time at Electra Lake. She spent her time raising her family and worked as the bookkeeper for the ranch. She was also an excellent cook. She was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Mary, brother Irvin and her husband of 61 years, Jack Kroeger and her daughter Mary Ann Kroeger. She is survived by her son Russell Kroeger and his wife Donalda of Durango, Deb Brown of Saint George, UT , four grandchildren, Holly, Andrea, Tanner and Ben and five great-grand children, Rylee, Emma, Teagan, Jack, Connor. Services will be held Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Hood Mortuary Chapel. Interment at Greenmount Cemetery.
