Jose L. Carrillo of Durango, Colo., passed away Monday morning, April, 23, 2012, at San Juan Regional Hospital in Farmington, N.M. He was 72. Mr. Carrillo was born to Salvador and Tonita Carrillo August 17, 1939, in Monero, N.M. He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Mr. Carrillo is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ruby Carrillo, of Durango, four children, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, four sisters and two brothers. A memorial service will be held Friday, April 27, 2012, at 11 a.m. at The Rose of Sharon Church, 930 Highway 550, Flora Vista, NM 87415.
