Mark Jungen Durango, Colorado Obituary

Mark Jungen

Mark Jungen, 53, of Durango, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 11, 2017. Beloved son of James and Janice Jungen. Devoted brother of Jeff (Paula) Jungen, Cathy (Bob) Durham, Eric (Patty) Jungen, and Sara (Mike) McVaugh. Also survived by loving nephews Brandon Jungen, Nick Jungen, Zander Jungen, Hayden Jungen, Jordan Durham, and Jonah Durham, and nieces Jessica McVaugh, Emily McVaugh, and Julia Jungen, along with many loving friends and extended family. Mark was a talented musician, artist, cook, and handyman. There were not many things he could not fix. He loved to camp, hunt, and fish, and spent as many hours devoted to those pastimes as he could. He also loved riding his motorcycle. Mark had a great sense of humor; a good, kind, generous heart; was quick with a smile and offer of help; and he never met a stranger. He gave the best hugs and his legendary almond butter toffee will be missed by many every Christmas. He was deeply loved and cherished, and will forever be missed. Funeral service Saturday, October 21, 2017, 11am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, please share a favorite memory or story you have of Mark with us.
