Michael Serrano

Michael Serrano passed away on July 30, 2014, at the age of 62, in Mancos, CO at The Valley Inn. He died from natural causes. Mr. Serrano was born in Durango, CO at Mercy Medical Center on July 25, 1952. He was born to Antonio M. and Mary Rose Serrano. He was one of three children born to the couple. He attended school in Ignacio and Delta, CO. He enjoyed fishing, being outdoors and raising chickens. He loved striking up conversations with people and to him, nobody was a stranger. He had a big heart for people and was known for helping those without a place to live. He is preceded in death by his parents Antonio M and Mary Rose Serrano. He is survived by his brothers, John Serrano (Mary) of Allison, CO and Ray Trujillo of Ignacio, CO. He also has numerous nieces and nephews and 1 great nephew and 1 great niece. He is also survived by many other friends and family. A service will be held for close friends and family at a later date.
