Shelly Yager Obituary

Shelly Marie Yager, age 49, went home on July 8, 2012. She was surrounded by family at home. She was born to Herman and Doris Gonzales on March 15, 1963 in Paso Robles, CA. She was their youngest daughter. She graduated from Morro Bay High (Morro Bay, California) in 1980. Later that year she married Randy Webster of Morro Bay, California. They have two sons together, Curtis Webster and Trenton Webster. They later divorced and she married Mark Yager of Morro Bay, California in 1992. Shelly and Mark Yager have two daughters, Lynzee Yager and Kelsey Yager. Shelly received her teaching certification in 2002 in Colorado. She also received her cosmetology certification in 2004 in California. She was a hairstylist at Shear Talk in Pagosa Springs, CO for 6 years. She also was a volunteer at American Cancer Society in Durango, CO. Shelly enjoyed shopping, spending time with her family, skiing and scrapbooking. Shelly is survived by her husband, Mark Yager, of Pagosa Springs, CO; parents Herman and Doris Gonzales, both of Pagosa Springs, CO; sons Curtis, Ruby & Grace Webster and Trenton Webster, all of Pagosa Springs, CO; daughters Lynzee Yager and Kelsey Yager, both of Pagosa Springs, CO; sister Patty Wright of Atascadero, CA; brothers Mark Gonzales of Atascadero, CA; Randy Gonzales of Paso, CA; and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. A celebration of her life will be held at Ignacio Community in Ignacio, CO on Friday July 13, 2012 at 11:00 am. Flowers may be sent to ICC Church in Ignacio, CO. Shelly was strong in her faith of God. She walked with God during her life. She was a caring wife, a loving mom and a wonderful person. She will be greatly missed and always remembered. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day -- and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing." - 2 Timothy 7-8 In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Ignacio Community Church, P.O.
