Thomas Petit

Thomas G. Petit passed away on November 21, 2017 at his home in Durango, Colorado. Tom is survived by his wife Nancy Petit. Tom is a graduate of the University of Santa Clara, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in business marketing and management and also earned an MBA from Pepperdine University. For more than 28 years, Tom worked in executive positions for interactive entertainment industry leaders such as Atari Inc., Nintendo, and Sega USA. He was co-founder of Sega USA and served eight years as President and CEO of the company. In August 2004, Tom retired from the video game industry, and relocated to Durango to begin a new career in ranch real estate development as the president of TGP Investments, LLC. Tom was a passionate fly fisherman, scuba diver and outdoorsman. A memorial service to celebrate Tom's life will be planned for the summer of 2018.
