Todd A. Carlson passed away at his home in Durango on January 10, 2018. He was born on September 14, 1965 in Denver, Colorado to Wayne and Diane Carlson. Todd is survived by his wife of 25 years Suzanne Fairchild Carlson and sons Alexander, Charlton, and Lucas, his father, Wayne Carlson, his sister, Kim Gailus and nieces, Shaylee and Ayli Gailus, and Rebecca Fairchild. He was predeceased by his mother Diane. He loved his family, including his two dogs. He loved fly fishing, hiking, lead therapy (target shooting), camping, riding his Quad, and floating on the pond. He loved to BBQ the perfect steak and to take care of his beloved plants. Todd was skilled in various construction trades and worked as an Operations Manager and Human Resources Director. Most recently, he was a stay-at-home daddy. Memorial services will be held at Hood Mortuary, 1261 East 3rd Avenue, Durango, CO on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 3:30 pm, followed by a reception at The Irish Embassy Pub, 900 Main Ave, at 5:00 pm.
