Robert DeCicco

Bob DeCicco, 72, of Greeley passed away on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, CO. He was born on June 15, 1944 in Ft. Collins, CO to Vic and Dorothy (Michaud) DeCicco. Bob went to St. Joseph Catholic School from first through eighth grade and graduated from Ft. Collins High School in 1962. After high school he attended Colorado State University. Bob served in the Colorado National Guard from 1965 – 1971. On February 15, 1969 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Collins, Bob married Pat Strohman. Bob worked for Greeley Coca Cola for 32 years and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Greeley. He enjoyed watching the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies. Bob also enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, playing card games on the computer, and watching movies, especially SciFi. Hearing about all his grandkids activities always brought a smile to his face. Bob had a lot of medical issues over the years, but always had a joke or funny story for whomever he was talking to. He never wanted people to know just how bad his health really was. Bob is survived by his wife Patsy of Greeley; daughter, Cathy (John) Johnston of Greeley; sons, Mike of Grass Valley, CA, and Matt (Salli) of Prince Frederick, MD; grandkids, Zack, Ryan, Zia, Aria, and another one due in September; and brothers, Jim (Debbie) of Mena, AR, and Tom (Mary Ann) of Wellington, CO. A memorial mass will be at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, May 5, 2017 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 2222 23rd Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634. Memorial contributions may be made in Bob’s name to “University of Colorado Transplant Center” in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634.
