Susanna J. Cruz, 73, of Greeley passed away at her home, surrounded by family, on August 14, 2017. She was born in the Greeley colony on April 4, 1944 to Guadelupe G. and Elisa (Garcia) Apodaca. She married Victor J. Cruz on October 31, 1964. Susanna received her GED and worked as a teacher’s aide at Jefferson Elementary for 8 years, Sherwood International in Longmont, Kodak of Windsor and Monfort Packing in Greeley. Survivors include her children; Stephanie (Mario) Garcia, Diane Cruz and Victor Cruz, grandchildren; Matthew (Jill) Garcia Sabrina M. Garcia, Angelina Rodriguez, Haily, Kyndra and Teresa Cruz, and great-grandchildren; DJ, Chloe and Benjamin Garcia, Dominic Garcia, Nehemiah and Pablo Rodriguez, Jordan Cruz, Gabriel and Rain Garcia, 7 sisters; Margaret Gonzales, Helen Lopez, Jenny Campbell, Pauline Dominguez, Vicki Lindeman, Diana Newton and Mary Apodaca. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Ralph, Pete, Frank, and Paul Apodaca and her sister, Josie Avila. Recitation of the Rosary 7 p.m. Friday, August 18 at the Adamson Chapel.
