Theodore Ehrlich, 80, of LaSalle, CO passed away surrounded by his family on November 24, 2011 at Hospice and Palliative Care of Northern Colorado in Greeley. Ted was born March 23, 1931 in Windsor-Severance area to Christ and Louise (Schaffer) Ehrlich. He married Dorothy Maxine Duby on August 22, 1954 in Windsor, CO. Ted was a lifelong farmer, passed his love for animals to his youngest grand daughter Avery, was the number one fan of his grandchildren’s sporting events and just loved sports in general; he was a pitcher in his younger years, loved to travel and made lifelong friends easily. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean conflict. Ted is survived by his wife of 57 years, Dorothy; son, Ron (Sandy) Ehrlich of Greeley; daughter, Amy (George) Frey of Ft. Collins, CO; grandchildren, Stacie (Brian) Meek, Amanda (Justin) Nelson, Jamie (Lee) Sinner and Avery Frey; great grandchildren, Kylee Meek, Kennedy Nelson, Triston Meek and Paisley Nelson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Albert, Paul, Robert and Reinhold. Visitation 4-7p.m. Monday, November 28, 2011 at Adamson Chapel, funeral service 10:30am Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 950 43rd Ave, Greeley. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Greeley. Memorials may be made to either “American Cancer Society” or “Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church” in care of Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Ave., Greeley, CO 80634.
