Obituary
Steven Morger, 67, of Greeley, passed away on March 28, 2020 at NCMC . He was born to Jack and Jodi (Barth) Morger on June 29, 1952 in Greeley. Mr. Morger graduated from Greeley West in 1970 with a full ride music scholarship to the University of Northern Colorado. In 1976 Mr. Morger graduated Alumni at the University of Northern Colorado with a double major. Receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Zoology and Chemistry. While also playing the Trumpet for the UNC band. After graduating he spent a lot of time traveling to Denver and Las Vegas playing in bands with his amazing talent playing the trumpet. On May 17th, 1986 he married Cindy Morger starting a family with their first daughter Ashley Morger. His dedication to his family was amazing. They lived a wonderful 27 years of marriage. Working as a Chemist most of his career. He retired from the City of Evans after working there for over 12 years as a chemist in the wastewater lab. He enjoyed putting on some Phil Collins, Bon Jovi, Foreigner, Elton John to say a few and put on a concert for anyone. He loved being outside gardening, fishing, hiking, tennis, basketball he was a man of many trades. He had a love for animals especially fish and dogs. His main love in life was his family. Once retired he was a dedicated grandfather. Everyone enjoyed his presence as his smile would always make you feel better and he always offered his shoulder to anyone that needed it. Steve is survived by his daughter Ashley Morger and his three grandchildren Domonique Huntington, Samaya Huntington and Zane Huntington Steve was preceded in death by his parents Jack Morger, Jodi (Barth) Morger and his sister Susan Simmons
