Betty Trupp

Betty Trupp, 86, of Greeley, went home to the Lord on August 7, 2019, from her home in Greeley. Betty was born in Kersey, Colorado to Elizabeth (Stroh) Kobobel on December 19, 1932. On May 20, 1950 in Windsor, Colorado, Betty married the love of her life, Leroy Trupp. Betty was confirmed at Saint Paul’s Congregational Church, Greeley in 1948. She was a wonderfully loving woman who had devoted herself to her family. Betty enjoyed traveling the country with her husband & children, crocheting, creating ceramics, and collecting dolls. She was a talented bowler, winning several team & individual tournaments from 1980-2000. Betty was also a master Rummy card player. Betty’s love extended to all animals, especially to her faithful companion, ‘Fluffy’, who came to her as a stray. Not only was Betty a loving mother, she was a hard worker. Betty especially enjoyed working for King Soopers where she was awarded Employee of the month in 1989, and retired after 30 years. Betty is survived by her children, Linda (Russell) Anderson, Bonnie (Glenn) Satur, and Raymond Trupp. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Ronald Trupp; grandchildren, James & Michael Trupp; son-in-law, Russell Anderson; parents; and two infant siblings. A Celebration of Life will be at 11:00am on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at the First Church of the Nazarene, 2515 W 16th St, Greeley, CO 80634.
