Daniel Fidelino Griego Sr., 75, of Greeley, passed away on July 17, 2019 in Greeley. Daniel was born in Greeley, Colorado to Isabel & Dolories (Renner) Griego on June 25, 1944. On April 29, 1967 in Greeley, Colorado, Daniel married the love of his life, Esther (Martinez) Griego. After Daniel served in the Army, he worked construction as a concrete finisher. During his life, he and Esther raised and treasured their children. Daniel enjoyed camping with family and friends. He liked playing softball and watching all sports. Daniel loved Karaoke. He was known as the “Mexican Kenny Rodgers.” Daniel is survived by his wife; children, Shiela (Kevin Burns) Griego, Daniel Griego Jr., Christopher (Betsy Sifuntez); grandchildren, Arthuro Hernandez, Andrew Hernandez, Vilsen Zamaripa, Christopher Griego, Daniel Griego 3rd, Mariah Archubequie, Monica Archubequie, Brittany Gonzales; two great-grandchildren, Analeah Nevaeh Mendoza Archubequie, Mia Amor Griego, Daniel is also survived by his siblings Liva Martinez, Gilbert (Jenevieve) Griego, and a large loving extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Ernest Griego, Ben Griego, Rosalie Pisano, Virginia Miller, Andrew Griego. A Celebration of Life will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 24th, 2019 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 1311 3rd St, Greeley, CO 80631
