Bruce Frederick Greve passed away Saturday morning October 26th in a Denver Colorado nursing home after an extended battle with Sepsis. Bruce was 96 years old and was born in Detroit Michigan March 31, 1923, the only son of Carl Frederick Greve and Lenna May Alexander. Bruce graduated from Mason High School in Mason Michigan in 1941. He married Elizabeth "Betty" Jane Sandstrom after serving four years during WWII as a Tech Sargent radio operator in the Marine Corps in the South Pacific. He graduated from Michigan State University in Lansing Michigan and Colorado School of Mines in Golden Colorado. Bruce worked for thirty years as a geologist for Mobil Oil Company. Bruce retired in Evergreen, Colorado in 1983. Bruce and Betty enjoyed cross country skiing and traveling the country in their travel trailer making many friends during their adventures. Bruce is survived by his only son John Frederick Greve, his wife Mary Margaret Accinelli, and Bruce's two granddaughters Roxanne Jane Steele and Jill Maureen Greve.
