Claryce A, Shipton March 14, 1937 – December 28, 2017, Age 80. Claryce was born in Rockford, Illinois to the late Clarence and Alin (Johnson) Hager. She graduated from Rockford East High School, where she enjoyed being a part of the Drama Club. Claryce married Willis R. Shipton on August 25th, 1960. They lived have lived in Colorado for the last 32 years and she loved having the mountains in her backyard. Claryce was a homemaker for most of her life but owned the Country Sampler, an antique store in Story City, IA for a few years. Claryce enjoyed celebrating every holiday, reading, cooking, baking, playing cards, spending time with her family and her passion was quilting. She was a member of Questers and The Order of the Eastern Star. Claryce is survived by her husband, Willis Shipton. Her children: Crystal Brady, Bill (Bonnie) Shipton, Jim (Denise) Shipton, Cassie (Alan) Videgar, Step children, Mike (Dawn) Shipton and Bruce Shipton. Grandchildren: Heather Brady, Ryan (Stacy) Brady, Billy Shipton, Betsie Shipton, Clarissa Videgar, Alexis Videgar, Emma Shipton, Noah Shipton, Keri Reinhart, Krista (Matthew) Justice, and Lori Dawn (Kevin) Hudson; 11 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great-great grandchildren; Sister, Virginia Lucas, Brother, Jim Hager and many, many friends. Her memorial service will be Saturday, December 30, 2017, 9:30 am at Aspen Mortuaries, 1350 Simms Street, Lakewood Colorado.
