February 2, 1929 - March 4, 2020 Dolores is survived by her husband Gilbert Herrera, her children Tom, Bob & Cindy, grandchildren Dani, Tina, Denise, Tom Jr., Lisa, Julie, Jessica, Solita, Aaron, Jodi and many great -grandchildren. Dolores was born in Delagua, Colorado to Librado Romero and Lorenzita Villegas. She grew up and went to school in Denver. In 1945 she met her faithful and loving husband after he returned from WWII. They were married on June 15, 1947 and were married for 72 years. Dolores was devoted to her family and friends, often putting others needs ahead of her own. She always gave of herself generously on all occasions. She loved to cook and her recipes have become a family treasure and tradition. In her free time she enjoyed making crafts, painting, macramé, ceramics, flower arranging, and crochet. She will be remembered for her quick wit that could not be matched and she always found a way to make others laugh. Her favorite companions were her puppy dogs over the years.
