Eileen Y. Row died May 24th at Villa Manor Care Center in Lakewood Colorado. She will be interred at Ft Logan National Cemetery with her husband, James M. Row, a World War II, U.S Navy veteran who died in December of 2000. She was born on September 28th, 1927 in Fairmont, Nebraska to Peter and Pearl (Hill) Lovegrove. After graduation from high school she worked at a grocery store in Fairmont. She married James on October 9th, 1947. They ran a cafe in Davenport, Nebraska, where they started their family, having a son and a daughter. They moved to Denver, Colorado and had two more sons, and later moved to Lakewood, Colorado, where she lived for the remainder of her life. She enjoyed travel and sightseeing in the western U.S., particularly in the Colorado mountains. She made several trips home to Nebraska, revisiting her fond memories of growing up on the farm. Eileen was preceded in death by her son, Dale, and husband, James. She is survived by her children, John Row of Manhattan, Kansas, Kathy (Row) Reffel of Nathrop, Colorado, Barry Row of Littleton, Colorado, eleven grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren.
