Jeana LaRose Gillis September 29, 1927 - April 30, 2020 Jeana L. Gillis passed away on April the 30th 2020, peacefully at her home in Vail, Colorado. She was born on September 29, 1927 in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was the daughter of Mabel and Arthur Goodwin. She was survived by her son Mark of Vail, Colorado and sister Kay Jaimes of Overland Park, Kansas. Jeana was preceded in death by her husband Albert and oldest son, Stanton Gillis. She was a long time resident of Colorado. She enjoyed her lengthy career with the federal government. Jeana was a dog lover and enjoyed playing bridge with her friends. She enjoyed all sewing crafts. She and her husband traveled the world extensively. She very much so enjoyed visiting other countries and learning about other cultures. One of her highlights of her life was a lengthy around the world trip. She will be sadly missed by her friends and family.
