Louise Rose Arnold Obituary

Louise Rose Arnold July 16, 1942 - May 26, 2020 Louise Rose Arnold was born on July 16, 1942 to William Mack and Minnie Lee (Smith) Arnold in Denver Colorado, she died of natural causes on May 26, 2020. Louise is the only girl of the six children born to Bill and Minnie Arnold. She grew up in Denver CO and went to elementary school at Greenlee Elementary until she contracted polio at the age of 10. The severity of the polio caused her to need more intensive care than her parents and brothers could give her and she was taken to live in Ridge Home for polio children. After graduating from the programs at Ridge Home she worked cleaning tables and taking out the trash at Laradon Hall which provided recreation programs for special needs children. She lived independently and in group homes until her mid-sixties and after a fall she resided in Park View Care Center where she lived at the time of her death. She is preceded in death by both of her parents and her older brother Robert, two sisters in Law, Kathy and Nancy Arnold. Four brothers survive her; Bill (Betty Allen) from Arvada CO, Gene (Gina) from Littleton CO, Paul (Kathy) from Denver CO and Jim (Sarah) from Parker CO, several nephew and nieces and great-nephews and nieces. Louise had a love of old TV including Andy Griffith, Gunsmoke, and Hogan’s Hero’s and especially enjoyed watching Lawrence Welk because it was her Mom’s favorite program. Louise had a happy personality and was amused at the humor of her bothers; she loved to play with her dolls and was an expert tea party hostess. She will be missed greatly but often expressed how much she was looking forward to heaven to see Jesus and be reunited with her mother. Details for Louise's service are pending. Please contact family for details.
