Sharon Clay Obituary Sharon Yvonne Clay, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and sister, passed away on October 22, 2019, at the age of 75. Sharon Yvonne Clay was born on November 11, 1943 at St. Anthony’s hospital in Denver, CO to Lola and Marvyn Foster. She grew up in the Denver area and attended West High School where she met Fred Crow who she married in 1960. She raised two daughters, Beverly and Barbara. She and her family moved to Lakewood, CO in 1967 where she resided until her death. Her marriage to Fred ended in 1978 and she remarried in 1979 to Ken Clay and welcomed Ken’s daughter Tammy (Mike) Lundborg to her family. Her marriage to Ken ended in 1997. Sharon is survived by her two daughters, Beverly (Patrick) Emanuel and Barbara (Steve Cordova) Lyon, her grandson Ross Lyon, and her step grandkids – Nikki Emanuel, Erin (Stephan) Coble, Joshua Miller, Jason (Emily) Cordova and Tina Cordova and five great-grandchildren. She has a younger half-brother, Chuck Hawthorne and a niece Lisa (Russell) Taylor and their two sons. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lola Hawthorne, her step-father, Elmer Hawthorne, and her sister, Cathy Ramirez. She also has some extended family - Johnny and Eva Staley, Walt and Maryann Staley and their children and grandchildren Sharon was a homemaker until 1971 when she began working for Meadow Gold. She went to work for Keebler in 1975 in the distribution center on 48th and Pecos and retired from Keebler in 2008 at the age of 65. She loved to travel and traveled to France, Mexico, Belize, Canada, New York, Vermont, Florida, Indiana, Wyoming, California, Arizona, Alaska, Hawaii and Las Vegas. Her favorite things were Margaritas, Mexican food, shopping, and being with her family and friends.
