Sidney “Paul” Brown, 84, of Wheat Ridge, CO passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, July 31, 2019. A "Celebration of Life Service" will be held at Aspen Mortuary, 1350 Simms Street, Lakewood, CO 80401 on Tuesday, August 13, 2019. Viewing is at 10 am and service at 11am. Interment with military honors will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 1:15 pm. Please gather at Staging Area "C". Following the interment family and friends are invited to a reception honoring Paul, at 3212 Nelson Street, in Wheat Ridge. Paul was born August 1, 1934 in Wray, Colorado. After graduating from school, he enlisted in the US Navy where he fought in the Korean War. He was a true hero in every way. After his discharge, he married the love of his life, Barbara, and became a father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Family was everything, and he will be missed. Paul is survived by his wife Barbara Brown, sister Mary (Max) Sivits, children Jim (Gina) Brown and Debbie Miller, grandchildren Mike (Jodie) Miller, Siri Miller, Brandi (Tony) Garcia, Victor Brown, great-grandchildren Christopher and Matthew Miller, Janisa, Alicia,and Vanessa Garcia, and Genesis Brown, plus several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Lutheran Hospice at www.supportlutheran.org. Designate donation to Hospice in Paul’s name, or send checks payable to Lutheran Medical Center Foundation at 8300 W. 38th Ave Wheat Ridge, CO 80033 and put Paul Brown on the memo line.
