Linda Baldieri Obituary

Linda V. Baldieri, 95 a resident of Milford and formerly of Bridgeport, departed peacefully into the waiting arms of Our Lord on Monday, December 24, 2012 after a brief illness at the West River Nursing Home of Milford. Linda was born June 27, 1917 in Pittston, PA. She was a homemaker and a terrific cook (especially her homemade pastas) and super baker. Her cookies, cakes and pizzas will be missed. She served as a Eucharistic Minister at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church in Bridgeport, visited the sick in the hospitals and rocked the sick babies for love and comfort at St. Vincent’s Hospital. Linda was predeceased by her husband Albert F. Baldieri, her parents Constantino and Agnes Mazzoni, and her brother Ernesto Mazzoni. Linda is survived by two sons, Leroy D. Baldieri and wife Adria of Milford and Albert P. Baldieri and wife Patricia of Monroe, granddaughters Cynthia Figuly and husband Daniel of Orange, Laurie Vingiano and husband Billy and Donna Stellato and husband Michael, both of North Haven and Tara McMahon and husband David of Weymouth, MA and great grandchildren Jack and Cecelia Figuly, Ava Vingiano, Angelo and Giavanna Graziano and Jenna Stellato, several nieces and nephews. The Baldieri family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude for the care given to their mother while she lived home to VNS of Trumbull, especially RN Jennifer; to Partners-in-Care, especially her devoted CNA Graziella Wright and RN Dorothy Byers; to the staff of Maplewood of Orange, especially Debbie, Amber and Michelle, she greatly enjoyed her short residency there; to the staff at West River Nursing Home; and lastly to SolAmor Hospice (Mary Ann) who made her last days comfortable and her passing peacefully. The Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main St. Bridgeport, was in charge of the arrangements. In abiding by Linda's wishes calling hours have been omitted and entombment was held at Mt Grove Cemetery in Bridgeport.
