Tyler Ti-Ray Ballew II, age 21, of Bridgeport, CT entered eternal rest on June 25th 2020 at Bridgeport Hospital.

LaSonya Jones and Tyler Ti-Ray Ballew Sr. were blessed on June 8th 1999 with beloved son, Tyler Ti-Ray Ballew II. Tyler was raised in a Christian home filled with love, discipline and respect. He enjoyed home cooked meals, family and gatherings. He favored his grandmother Yvette’s baked macaroni and cheese.

Tyler attended Central High School and was very athletic, he enjoyed most sports especially basketball. His passion was music, creating beats and lyrics. He was scheduled to attend barber school in June. Tyler was working on his LLC and entrepreneurship for remodeling homes with the assistance of his mother. He was known for his unique sense of style, his glowing smile, and loving vibrant kind soul.

Tyler is predeceased by his paternal grandfather,Melton Ballew; great grandparents: Mary Mackey, Minnie & James Ballew and Kathleen Porter.

Tyler is survived by: mother, LaSonya Jones of Stratford; father, Tyler Ti-Ray Ballew I of Bridgeport; daughter, A’siah Ballew of Bridgeport; brothers, Keith Jones of Stratford, Nassah Porter of Stratford, Ta’ler Ballew of Meriden, sister, Thai’land Ballew of Ansonia; paternal grandparents, Howard & Yvette Embry of Bridgeport; maternal grandparents, Victor & Lillie Harris of Stratford; James Jones of Newport News, VA; paternal great grandparents, Richard Porter, Terry Griffin of Bridgeport; uncles, Terrance Johnson of Bridgeport, Jamarr Ploughman of Manchester; special aunt of Bridgeport, Marie Embry who he would called ‘TeeTee’; girlfriend, Victoria Diaz of Bridgeport; Godparents Jamar Traylor and Shamora Scales of Bridgeport; Godbrother, Jamar Traylor Jr. of Bridgeport; and host of extended family and friends who will cherish his memory.

Tyler’s absence leaves an immeasurable hole in the lives of those who loved him. His family and friends will endlessly miss him.
