Eugeniusz Grabowski

Eugeniusz T. Grabowski age 78 of Stratford, devoted husband of 48 years to Irena Czajkowska Grabowski died peacefully on Thursday February 16, 2012 with his family at his side. Born in Grabowa, Nowe, Poland he was the son of the late Thomas and Vincenta Grabowski. A resident of Stratford for over 40 years, he was a retired employee of Handy and Harmon where he worked for over 39 years and was a member of its Quarter-Century Club. Survivors in addition to his wife, his loving children, Barbara Yudichak of Middlebury, Dorothy Conlogue, Thomas Grabowski and Carol Grabowski all of Stratford, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a sister Irena Gromek of Poland, two brothers Wladlaw Grabowski of Poland and Edmund Grabowski of Shelton, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a sister and brother Kasimira Lenczewska and Pawel Grabowski. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10 AM in St. Michael the Archangel Church followed by interment in St. John's Cemetery, Monroe. Calling hours will take place on Monday from 4 to 8 PM in the Frank M. Radozycki & Sons Funeral Home, 305 Pulaski St. Bridgeport. (Directly across from St. Michael's Church) if desired donations may be made to St. Michael's Church, 310 Pulaski St. Bridgeport 06608 in loving memory of Eugenius.
