Renislaw Malinowski, age 77 of Stratford, born February 1, 1934, and died peacefully July 23, 2011 at Bridgeport Hospital. He was the beloved husband of 43 years to the late Irena Malinowska. Born and raised in Ciechanow, Poland, he was the son of the late Franciszek and Apolonia Malinowski. A resident of Stratford for many years, he attended Railway Technical School in Warsaw and worked in the Polish State Railways as a general manager of the cargo department for many years. After arrival to the U.S., he was employed by Nice and Fresh Bakery in Bridgeport and for the past nine years, was the proud co-owner of Adam's Bakery in Fairfield. He had a passion for gardening, carpentry and baking. He leaves his son, Adam with wife, Sara; his daughters, Ewa and Anna; a grandchild, Kamila, all of Stratford; a sister, Lidia and her husband, Stanislaw; and a brother, Andrew and his wife, Bozena; and many cousins and friends both in Poland and the U.S. He was predeceased by his brother, Thedore and his wife, Ligia. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, July 25th at 11 a.m. in St. Michael the Archangel Church, followed by interment in St. John's Cemetery, Monroe.
