Albert Joseph Francia 86 entered into peace on Wednesday February 24, 2010 at the Soldier’s Home in Holyoke Massachusetts. Albert was born in Windsor Locks the son of the late Joseph and Marina Francia. He served his country honorably during World War II with the United States Army Air Corps, and was a former member of the Windsor Locks Fire Department, Albert was an Enfield resident for forty years and was employed as a mechanical engineer for Gerber Scientific in South Windsor for over twenty years. Albert was an active member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witnesses in East Windsor. He was predeceased by his first wife Margaret (Byrd) Francia and his second wife Margaret (Mercier) Francia. He is survived by his beloved son William A Francia of Enfield. Services for Albert are private and at the convenience of the family. Albert’s son Bill would like to express his sincere gratitude for the exceptional care given to his father at the Soldiers Home in Holyoke.
