Alice I. (Conway) Bourgoin, of Enfield, entered into eternal life at the age of 66 on Monday (Dec. 30, 2013) at Parkway Pavilion Healthcare in Enfield. Alice was born on June 26, 1947 in the Thompsonville section of Enfield the daughter of the late Harold and Josephine (Marinaccio) Conway and step-daughter of the late Emma (Marinaccio) Conway and was a lifelong resident of Enfield. She was a graduate of Enfield High School. Alice was formerly employed for several years with The Travelers Insurance Co. and recently with Comfort Keepers. She was active with the Enfield Senior Center and a member of the Buick Club. Alice enjoyed going to Broadway shows in NY, chatting with family and friends on the phone, and had a passion for cats and pumpkins. Alice is survived by her two daughters; Pamela Griffith of Stafford and Annette Bourgoin-Harris of Enfield, her cherished grandchildren; Miranda Griffith and Matthew Griffith of Stafford and Norissa Meyer and Cory Meyer of Enfield, her sister; Anna Carzello & husband Joseph of Westfield, MA, her two brothers; Joseph Marone & wife Elaine of E. Sandwich, MA and Victor Marone & wife Carol of Annapolis, MD, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Alice was predeceased by a daughter Christina Bourgoin and a grandson Paul W. Meyer. Relatives and friends may gather with her family on Thursday (Jan. 2, 2014) from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield. Funeral Services will take place on Friday (Jan. 3, 2014) at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. John Melnick officiating from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels followed by interment in St. Patrick’s King Street Cemetery, Enfield.
