Alice Mosness

Alice E. (Brooks) Mosness, 102, died peacefully on Sunday, March 23, 2014 at St. Joseph Residence in Enfield. Born in Winthrop, Massachusetts on March 31, 1911, Alice was the daughter of the late Michael F. and Julia A. (Rogers) Brooks. She was a receptionist with Hartford Hospital for twelve years and retired in 1980. She is survived by her sons, Walter Mosness and Robert Mosness, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 10:45 a.m. at St. Joseph Chapel, Little Sisters of the Poor, 1365 Enfield Street, Enfield, CT 06082. The family will receive relatives and friends beginning at 9:45 a.m. A private burial will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Eliot, Maine.
