Aline Chaput

Aline M. Chaput, 97 of Enfield, entered peacefully into eternal life on Friday Dec. 29, 2006 at St. Joseph's Residence, Enfield. She was the widow of Albert J.Z. Chaput who predeceased her in 1978. Aline was born on July 11, 1909 in St. Jacques N.B., Canada a daughter of the late Vital and Alodie (Martin) Couturier, she had resided in Enfield for the past 4 yrs, in East Hartford for 20 years and before that in Hartford for 50 years.<br>Aline was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, whose life revolved around raising and caring for her family. She was a former member of St. Mary's Church, East Hartford. Aline leaves to cherish fond memories her loving son; Roger J. Chaput and his wife, Darcie of Enfield, two beloved grandsons; Roger A. and Roy Chaput and two great grandchildren; Jason and Jesse, along with several nieces and nephews. <br>Funeral services in celebration of Aline's life will be held on Thursday Jan. 4, 2007 at 9:30am from St. Joseph's Residence, Enfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Chapel at 10:30am. Interment will take place in Mt. Saint Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Aline's family will receive friends on Wed. Jan. 3 from 5 to 8pm at St. Joseph's Residence, Little Sister of the Poor. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Little Sister of the Poor 1365 Enfield St. Enfield, CT 06082. Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield is assisting the family with arrangements. <br>
