Alison Price, of Enfield, passed away on Thursday February 16, 2012, at her home after having fought a courageous battle with cancer with loved ones at her side. The daughter of John T. and Barbara (Thomas) Price, Alison was born December 6, 1971 in Hartford,CT. She lived most of her life in Enfield, then in Suffield and most recently made her home in Windsor Locks. She had been employed with Food Bag of Enfield and also Suffield Pizza. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother whose children and grandchildren were the center of her life. Besides her parents, Alison is survived by her beloved partner Russell Rollins; her loving children; Robert W. Price of Ellington; Sarah E. Rollins of Hartford; Samantha J. Rollins and Jessica L. Rollins both of Windsor Locks, her grandchildren; Jayson L. and Maiya E. Owens; her brothers; Christopher Thomas of N. Wales, Great Britain and Anthony Price of England and her sister; Nicola Price and husband Brian Jay of E. Windsor, CT, her niece; Amanda Pippin of E. Windsor along with many friends and loved ones. She was predeceased by a brother; Alastair. Relatives and friends may gather with Alison’s family during calling hours on Sunday (Feb. 19, 2012) from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield, followed by a Service of Remembrance with Pastor George Heiland officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers her family has requested contributions be made to the Alison Price Memorial Fund C/O Rockville Bank Big-Y Plaza, 65 Palomba Dr. Enfield, CT 06082.
