Alston "Al" Parker

Alston “Al” A. Parker, 67, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest on Sunday (Oct. 26, 2014) at St. Francis Hospital & Medical Ctr. , Hartford, CT. Al was the beloved husband of Sandra L. (Guzowski) Parker (Custodian at Parkman Elem. School, Enfield). Alston was born on July 27, 1947 in West Springfield, MA the son of the late Walter A. and Margaret E. (Jessemen) Parker and had resided in Enfield for the past 14 years and in Chicopee, MA before that. Prior to retiring in 2012 Al was a custodian for the Town of Enfield Board of Education at Alcorn Elementary School. Besides his wife Sandra, he is survived by his children; Janelle Horne & husband Derek of Daytona Beach, FL, Stacey Enger & companion Derrick Warfield of Maryland, Nancy Kibbe & husband Brian of Ludlow, MA and Carla Arpin & husband Paul of Agawam, MA, his cherished grandchildren; Kaleb & Alice Horne, Caydence Enger, and TJ & Marissa Kibbe. Friends may gather with his family during calling hours on Thursday (Oct. 30, 2014) from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield followed by a Memorial Service with Deacon Vincent Motto officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
